A U.S Court jury found the actress guilty of defaming her ex-husband and ordered her to pay $15 million in damages. Although Amber was awarded $2 million in damages, her attorney Elaine Bredehoft said she could “absolutely not” pay Depp the “damages”.
According to Zillow property records, the Santa Fe-style house was recently sold for $1,050,000, double the price it was bought for in 2019.
Amber’s family paid $570k for the Yucca Valley property, sold it for $1,050,000, and made a profit of roughly $480k.
The new owner acknowledged to media sources that he had been working with Amber’s representatives, even though he hasn’t personally spoken to her.
The actress is in debt for around $ 8.3 million, according to information from the courthouse; she plans to challenge this move.
