The management of the Enugu State University has conferred a honorary doctorate degree on Nigerian businessman, Obi Cubana.
He received the degree on Saturday in presence of Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi and many other academics.
Sharing a couple of pictures on his social media page, Cubana wrote “Ladies and Gentlemen, You may wish to address me henceforth as Dr. Obinna lyiegbu, Okpataozueora 1! (Dr. Of Business Administration).
“Thank you to the management, staff and students of Enugu State University (ESUT). Thank You Your Excellency Rt.Hon Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi”.
The 47-year-old entrepreneur, who hails from Oba town, Idemili South in Anambra state, is the chairman of the Cubana Group.
Cubana holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka.
