The deluxe edition of Tyla’s self-titled debut album, TYLA, expands on the original 14-track release with three new songs. The new tracks are “Shake Ah” featuring Tony Duardo, Optimist, and Maestro, “Push 2 Start”, and “Back To You”.
The original album, released on March 22, 2024, blended elements of amapiano, pop, afrobeats, and R&B, with empowering and relationship-focused lyrics. It debuted at No. 24 on the Billboard 200 chart and earned certifications in Canada and Brazil.
The deluxe edition maintains the same genre-bending sound and themes, with the added bonus tracks showcasing Tyla’s growth and versatility as an artist. The album’s artwork features Tyla drenched in water, paying homage to her breakthrough single “Water”.
